Training description
The Advanced Rescue Training (ART) course is designed to train wind industry professionals with the essential skills and knowledge required to perform rescues in various emergency situations inside wind turbines. With a comprehensive approach, the course is structured into four modules, each focusing on a specific type of rescue, including rescues inside hubs, nacelles, towers, pits, and confined spaces.
Compliant with Global Wind Organisation (GWO) standards, participants will learn to manage high-risk situations using specialized rescue equipment and procedures adapted to wind environments.
Training objectives:
- Acquire the necessary skills to perform advanced rescues in wind environments safely and efficiently.
- Apply specialized rescue techniques in the hub, nose, and blade, using advanced equipment and procedures.
- Execute rescue operations in nacelle, tower, and pit, including confined and hard-to-access spaces.
- React quickly and efficiently to height emergencies, ensuring the safety of both the team and the victim.
